据内部消息人士透露，许多Bungie开发者对开发单机游戏感兴趣，但索尼坚持认为实时服务游戏才是未来。即使是较小风险的项目，如果不是实时服务类型，也会被索尼否决。


一些人担心索尼过度关注实时服务游戏可能会导致资源浪费，认为PS5时代可能是索尼史上最差的一代。有人认为，开发一些较小项目可以为Bungie带来收入，更好地支持长期运营的项目。
